This is part of a fan art series, medieval "tapestries" featuring prominent characters from George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones universe. My goal was to portray these characters in a stylized way, borrowing some of the elements found in Medieval/Renaissance tapestries and illuminated manuscripts.

This tapestry celebrates the legendary father of many Westerosi houses, Garth Greenhand.
