Tarot of Zorroc - The Death Knight

Drawing on influences ranging from Dragon Age: Inquisition’s menu art to illuminated manuscripts and tarot iconography, this piece was designed as a card one might find in a Warcraft arcanist’s augury deck.

It depicts the story of Zorroc Barrowlight (a homebrewed character of mine), a former Blood Elf priest whose death at the hands of the Scourge bound him to the Lich King’s will. From Death Knight to Knight of the Ebon Blade, his path shifts again when Eternus of the Infinite Dragonflight teaches him to manifest the talents and identities of his alternate selves — setting him on a destiny that transcends time itself.
