Bran the Breaker - GoT Fan Art Tapestry

This is part of a fan art series, medieval "tapestries" featuring prominent characters from George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones universe. My goal was to portray these characters in a stylized way, borrowing some of the elements found in Medieval/Renaissance tapestries and illuminated manuscripts.

In this tapestry we see Bran the Breaker and his army. Brandon Stark, also known as the King of Winter, stood against the dark reign of the Night's King and his corpse queen at the Wall. To end the Night's King's thirteen-year tyranny and liberate the Night's Watch from enslavement, he forged an alliance with Joramun, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. Together, they overthrew the shadowy rule, and, in the aftermath, Brandon erased the Night’s King's very name from memory, banishing it from history.
