Aegon the Conqueror - GoT Fan Art Tapestry

This is part of a fan art series, medieval "tapestries" featuring prominent characters from George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones universe. My goal was to portray these characters in a stylized way, borrowing some of the elements found in Medieval/Renaissance tapestries and illuminated manuscripts.

This tapestry depicts Aegon the Conqueror and his two wives, Visenya and Rhaenys. Aegon the First is perhaps the most celebrated ancestor of the dragon-riding masters of House Targaryen.
